Art offers an opportunity to set a mark. Thus Karin
Hannaks art work
¡°ETAS¡± may be considered as a vision of a
life in peace on our planet. In five parts
presented
on all continents at the same time, the art work symbolically unites
people expressing that love is the most important pre-condition for a
harmonious coexistence.
In 1990,
Karin Hannak discovers the special meaning of human hair as artistic
material - The first so-called capillographics show "Faces of Life". -
After creating the "Human Mirror" installation "CapilloCollection
International", human suffering as well as the concern for the future of
our world become central topics for which the artist always finds new
possibilities of expression. She works projects in white, poster walls,
light installations, sculpture and photo projects. 2005: Her computer
animation "Every 5 Seconds" points at the world-wide mass mortality of
children. - The vision "CapilloGlobe" describes the basic situation of our
world, the immense endangerment of our vulnerable planet. 2006: "European
Landscape" refers to the high responsibility for the future of our
children lying in our decisions. 2007: Macro-photographs of upper arms of
people of all races peacefully unite people in the sense of being
consummately human through "skin and hair". |
